The Friendship Connection, Inc.
Incoming German 3 students (2013/14): your summer packet is on the German 2, second semester page, all the way on the bottom.
Incoming German 4 students (2013/14): your summer packet is on the bottom of this page.
If you are interested in the German AP class for next year, it is important that you look at some information before hand. If you go the AP page (first semester) on this site, you can see my syllabi for that class. There the themes we need to discuss in class are described, but the assignments might change some.
The themes are also shown in the book from the CollegBoard on page 30-35. AP German Language and Culture Course and Exam Description, Effective Fall 2011. The information is for teachers to prepare you for the exam, so you don't have to worry about detail... but this way you get a feel for what we are going to talk about and the importance of it.

Incoming German 4 students (2013/2014) - Summerpacket
This is the same information like last year - just with new worksheets.
Even though we did not use the book that much - we did cover most of the grammar information on the new worksheets.
This is the cover-page you will receive in class.
These are the pages you need to print: part 1, part 2 and part 3
You have to print all three parts and work with all the assignments to receive full credit. You also need to bring in the completed packet the very first day of school to receive full credit.
Check out the Resources Page on this website - there is a lot of information about Germany and learning German.
Also - check the conjuguemos.com website - it's fun to practice conjugations and vocabulary! Be aware though - I found a few mistakes already... If you need a dictionary, try the leo.org from the University of Munich.
The summer packets from the previous years are on the German 2, second semester page and German 1, second semester page. That also is great review.
You can also order your own textbook through the internet ... you can buy them for 5$ or more... you could buy your own newer version...
